We pour flatwork for businesses, churches, apartment owners and property managers around Fort Worth: parking areas, dumpster pads, sidewalks, ADA ramps, curbs and loading areas. Call (817) 207-5579 and we will come walk the site, measure and give you a written bid you can take to the owner or the board.
Commercial work we take on
- Parking lot sections: cut out and replace failed panels, or pour new parking bays
- Dumpster pads and aprons: the slab under the bin plus the strip where the truck's front wheels land
- Sidewalks and ADA ramps: at entrances, along the street and at corner approaches
- Curb and gutter: replacement sections and new curb lines
- Loading areas and equipment pads: thicker slabs for forklifts, compressors and generators
Dumpster pads take a beating
A loaded garbage truck sets its full weight on the front wheels when it lifts a bin, then it drops the bin back down on the pad. Thin asphalt or a 4 inch slab breaks up fast under that. We pour dumpster pads and their aprons thicker, usually 6 to 8 inches with heavy steel, and size the apron so the truck's front wheels land on concrete.
Call to set up a site walk. Bids are free and written.
Keeping your business open
We phase the work so customers can still park and get in the door. A parking lot can be poured in sections with cones and tape around the fresh concrete. Pours can start before opening hours, and we can work weekends when that is the only quiet time on the site.
Anything that touches the street goes through the city. In Fort Worth, work in the right-of-way takes a parkway permit, and a driveway approach on a corner lot has to sit at least 30 feet from the side street curb, with an ADA ramp at the corner if there is not one already. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections.
Slabs on commercial sites sit on the same Fort Worth clay and limestone as everything else in town. The Fort Worth soil guide explains why the base matters as much as the concrete.
Questions about Commercial Concrete in Fort Worth
- Do you work for property managers and HOAs?
- Yes. We write bids that list each area separately with its own price, so a board or an owner can approve part of the work now and part later.
- Can you match the existing parking lot concrete?
- We match the thickness, the joint pattern and the finish. Color will be lighter at first and weather in over time.
- How big a job will you take?
- Flatwork from a single dumpster pad up to parking lot sections. Call with the scope and we will tell you plainly if it fits our crew.
Call us, or send the form, and we will set a time to look at the job and price it in writing.
