Euless went from about 4,300 people in 1960 to more than 19,000 in 1970, and today it is past 60,000 with the southwest corner of DFW Airport inside the city limits. That 1960s boom left a lot of driveways and patios that are now well past their prime. We tear them out and pour new ones, and we build patios and slabs on newer lots too. The ground under Euless
Geologists named a layer of the Woodbine formation the Euless member after this town. It is shale with lenses of sandstone mixed through it. That means two lots on the same street can have different dirt under the slab: sandy in one spot, tight clay in the next. When we break out an old driveway we look at what comes up, and we firm up the base wherever the ground is soft. The Fort Worth soil guide covers the rest of the county.
What we pour in Euless

- Back patios and patio extensions
- Front walks and steps
- Pads for sheds, trailers and AC units
- Sunken panel repair at garages and porches
The town takes its name from Elisha Adam Euless, who came to Texas in 1867, ran a cotton gin and served as county sheriff in the 1890s.

Questions about concrete work in Euless
- Why did my Euless driveway sink at one end?
- Usually the base under that end was softer, or water got under it from a downspout or a sprinkler. The [leveling page](/concrete-leveling) covers lifting versus replacing.
- Do you work near the airport side of Euless?
- Yes. We work all over Euless and the rest of the Hurst, Euless and Bedford area.
